In a new video interview, Access Hollywood asks the cast of Outlander who they would pick: Jamie or Frank? Check out the video below to see who chose Jamie, and who chose Frank.
An Outlander Fansite
Now that I’ve come out of my Comic-Con haze, I’ve created a new gallery of all of my photos from Friday’s event. In the gallery below you’ll find all of my pics from the red carpet (or should we say tartan carpet) premiere, followed by the cast Q&A session with Sam, Cait, Lotte, Graham, Tobias, Diana, and Ron. The cast rolled up to the tartan carpet in classic 1940s cars, and followed bagpipers and lads in kilts onto the press line. After we had our chance to chat with the cast and crew, we all went inside the theatre and were treated to a performance by composer Bear McCreary, who played some classic Scottish tunes and debuted the theme he wrote for Claire and Jamie. Seeing the first episode on the big screen was truly a remarkable experience, and I I think it’s safe to say that I wasn’t the only one in the audience with goosebumps and a lump in their throat. The first episode was everything I could hope for (the second, which I screened before the premiere, is just as good, but that’s all I’ll say for now). I don’t think you will be disappointed with the show. Starz and the cast and crew have done an amazing job, and it’s everything I could hope for and more. Hope you enjoy the pics from this very epic night!
Each year, Entertainment Weekly posts some great star portraits from their suite at Comic-Con. This year we are lucky enough to get a portrait of the cast that was in attendance for Friday’s SDCC panel, which features, Sam, Caitriona, Lotte, Graham, and Tobias. Lovely!
Friday was a big day at San Diego Comic-Con, especially if you are an Outlander fan. The first Outlander event of the day was a panel discussion in room 6A, and I was lucky enough to nab a front row seat at the event. If you’d like to view the entire panel, Starz has made it available for all to see, which you can check out in the video below. I’ve also added a gallery of photos I took at the event, featuring Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Tobias Menzies, Lotte Verbeek, Graham McTavish, Ronald Moore, and Diana Gabaldon.
It’s been a busy day for Outlander news, with the official announcement that Diana Gabaldon and the cast of the TV series will be appearing at a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25th. The panel will take place at 2:15 in room 6A and will feature the following cast/crew members:
Ronald D. Moore
Diana Gabaldon
Caitriona Balfe
Sam Heughan
Tobias Menzies
Graham McTavish
Lotte Verbeek
There will also be an autograph session on the same day at the Starz booth inside of the exhibit hall.
For more information on the autograph session, be sure to visit booth 4029 to see how you can participate. From past SDCC experience, it’s usually a choice of which one you want to see more, the panel or the autograph session. For shows and movies with big fandoms, people usually are camped out overnight in order to attend a highly anticipated panel, and autograph session tickets are usually part of a drawing that takes place while you may be in line for that panel. This may not be the case with Outlander, but it very well could be, so you may have to choose which one you’d rather do. This has been my experience in other years, but it very well could be different, so if you are attending, we sure to get more info at the Starz booth.
More Outlander character portraits have been popping up lately, with the latest being a new batch of pics featuring Dutch actress Lotte Verbeek as Geillis Duncan. Check out the lovely new photos, courtesy of Lotte Verbeek Facebook!
