Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, we now have a sneak peek at Ron Moore’s cameo in this week’s episode of Outlander. Ron appears alongside Diana Gabaldon in episode four, entitled “The Gathering,” for a brief moment, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled this Saturday to catch him in action.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have our first look at Diana Gabaldon’s cameo in Outlander! Diana’s self-described “scenelet” will air in this week’s episode, “The Gathering,” as Herself appears as Iona McTavish.
“Matt Roberts, the scriptwriter for this particular episode (and a lovely man he is, too, Guy Fawkes beard notwithstanding), would write a tiny scenelet for me,” Gabaldon explained. “Just a couple of lines of dialogue. They could then film that pretty quickly on its own, and I’d then be released… The lady in question is at the Gathering, and the scenelet in question takes place in one of the galleries over the Great Hall.”
You can also read more from Diana’s experience on set over on her website.
Outlander will be gracing the cover of the upcoming issue of TV Guide magazine, and the official Outlander Twitter page teased us all with a little sneak peek at the new issue! The issue, which goes on sale this week, will also feature some exclusive new photos from the show, so be sure and pick up your copy when it hits store shelves.
Now that I’ve come out of my Comic-Con haze, I’ve created a new gallery of all of my photos from Friday’s event. In the gallery below you’ll find all of my pics from the red carpet (or should we say tartan carpet) premiere, followed by the cast Q&A session with Sam, Cait, Lotte, Graham, Tobias, Diana, and Ron. The cast rolled up to the tartan carpet in classic 1940s cars, and followed bagpipers and lads in kilts onto the press line. After we had our chance to chat with the cast and crew, we all went inside the theatre and were treated to a performance by composer Bear McCreary, who played some classic Scottish tunes and debuted the theme he wrote for Claire and Jamie. Seeing the first episode on the big screen was truly a remarkable experience, and I I think it’s safe to say that I wasn’t the only one in the audience with goosebumps and a lump in their throat. The first episode was everything I could hope for (the second, which I screened before the premiere, is just as good, but that’s all I’ll say for now). I don’t think you will be disappointed with the show. Starz and the cast and crew have done an amazing job, and it’s everything I could hope for and more. Hope you enjoy the pics from this very epic night!
Each year, Entertainment Weekly posts some great star portraits from their suite at Comic-Con. This year we are lucky enough to get a portrait of the cast that was in attendance for Friday’s SDCC panel, which features, Sam, Caitriona, Lotte, Graham, and Tobias. Lovely!
Thanks to ET Canada, we now have a new look at Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe in their first fashion shoot together! Don’t they look all pretty and fancy? What do you think of their look?
Check it out! We now have four new high quality stills from Outlander to admire, thanks to Access Hollywood. Happy Friday 🙂
Ever wanted a peek into Claire’s apothecary chest? Thanks to Starz, we can now get a glimpse into all of the plants that would have been at her disposal in the 18th century. Click here to explore Claire’s apothecary cabinet, and check out the beautiful new still above!
Thanks to the awesome people over at TV Guide, we have a new behind-the-scenes video of Sam and Caitriona’s photo shoot from earlier this year. Enjoy!
