Each year, Entertainment Weekly posts some great star portraits from their suite at Comic-Con. This year we are lucky enough to get a portrait of the cast that was in attendance for Friday’s SDCC panel, which features, Sam, Caitriona, Lotte, Graham, and Tobias. Lovely!

Starz has released the amazing new title sequence for Outlander, which debuted at the red carpet premiere at Comic-Con, in the video below. The main theme features an arrangement of “Skye Boat Song” by Bear McCreary with vocals by Raya Yarbrough. You can now pre-order the haunting new theme song over on iTunes.
Friday was a big day at San Diego Comic-Con, especially if you are an Outlander fan. The first Outlander event of the day was a panel discussion in room 6A, and I was lucky enough to nab a front row seat at the event. If you’d like to view the entire panel, Starz has made it available for all to see, which you can check out in the video below. Today Starz announced that the very first episode of Outlander will be previewed a week ahead of the official premiere date, with a special sneak peek airing across multiple online and television outlets. The episode, called Sassenach, will be available beginning August 2nd. Here’s a sample of where you can view the show early, via today’s press release:
Approximately 82 million multichannel video households will have access to the premiere episode via additional linear, on-demand and/or online sampling opportunities on select cable, satellite and telco affiliates in the United States as well as online through select websites including Starz.com/Outlander, the Starz “Outlander” Twitter page, the Starz YouTube page, Starz “Outlander” Facebook Pageand the free STARZ PLAY app for all users in the United States.
Starz also confirmed that season one of Outlander will be split in two, with the first eight episodes airing August 9-September 27, and final eight episodes airing in early 2015.
